Privacy Policy

How Shaina (Shaina GmbH) handles personal data on shaina-solutions.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1. Controller

A data protection officer has not been appointed, as the statutory requirements for a mandatory appointment are not met. Questions about data protection can be sent to the e-mail address above.

2. Summary

This is a static informational website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party content (fonts, scripts, maps, videos) and contains no contact forms. The only personal data processed is the technical data your browser transmits when requesting a page (section 3) and any data you choose to send us by e-mail (section 4).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on a virtual server administered by Shaina GmbH and rented from Hostinger International Ltd. When you access the site, the web server automatically processes the following data, which your browser transmits:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• Requested page or file, HTTP status and transferred data volume
• Referrer URL (the page from which you came), if transmitted
• Browser type, version and operating system (user agent)

Purpose and legal basis: The processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure the stability and security of our systems and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).

Retention: Server log files are stored for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted automatically, unless a longer retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.

Transport encryption: All connections to this website are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). The TLS certificate is issued by Let's Encrypt; certificate issuance does not involve the transfer of visitor data.

4. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and the content of your message) is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Retention: Enquiries are deleted once they have been fully handled and no statutory retention obligation (e.g. under German commercial or tax law, § 257 HGB / § 147 AO) applies.

5. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Personal data is not sold or passed on to third parties for their own purposes. Our hosting provider acts as a processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data is processed within the European Union. No transfer to third countries takes place through this website.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
